For more than 30 years the European Lawyers’ Union (U.A.E.) has brought together practicing lawyers from across Europe with the primary aim of promoting the professional practice of law, as well as furthering the practice of European Union Law and of the European Convention on Human Rights.

The General Assembly meeting, usually held in the last months of each year, is an important part of the Association’s year, and includes both an institutional component and a conference about a theme of topical interest.

We are pleased to confirm that the upcoming General Assembly of the UAE will take place in Strasbourg on November 21st and 22nd, 2025.

The 21st and 22nd of November 2025 in Strasbourg will feature a rich programme of institutional meetings, discussions, and convivial moments.

On 21 November, the day will begin with a Conference on “Business & Human Rights” at the Council of Europe, followed by a tour at the European Court of Human Rights. In the evening there will be the Gala Dinner with show at the amazing Royal Palace Kirrwiller.

On 22 November, the focus will shift to the U.A.E. internal meetings, with the General Assembly and the Executive Committee hosted at the Ordre des Avocats de Strasbourg
